One thing I remember about high school is the wise words from my Math teacher. I didn’t remember exactly how it began, but then he said, “Whatever you guys do in the future, always remember to finish it. Always finish something you start, preferably well; but always finish everything.”
Looking back at 2012, I have started many things, ended many things. There is no one thing I regret about 2012, and thank God for that. There were some points where I messed things up here and there, and at that time, I blamed myself a lot. However, today as I looked back, things were falling where they were supposed to fall. There was nothing fall out of place because of no good reason.
I had my heart broken in early 2012. I thought it was not fair. However today, I am really grateful for that; it doesn’t mean I like having my heart broken, but it was just right in time. I guess that was the very right time for my heart to be broken, to say goodbye because someone else is about to arrive. Someone right.
I started this blog in 2012. I never planned to end this any sooner (and I hope not for later as well). This blog is one of the best things happened to me in 2012. I met new people, engaged in a lot of adventures, and most importantly, I am doing what I like the most. I learned a lot about writing in both English and Indonesian, and supposedly, it is fair to say I am improved more: technically and non technically, especially in Indonesian.
Therefore I am grateful for everything good in 2012, as well as everything bad. There is nothing good can happen without the bad things. So I am enthusiastically welcoming 2013. I know for sure it would be far greater, more interesting, more loving, more exciting, more interesting and full of pleasant surprises.
Cheers for all of us
