I imagined how often God does this to His children. After a while, each of us is very broken in our own ways. At times we might even think we are beyond repairable.
You might be in a position where you did something that you are not proud of; and nobody should ever forgive you. Or perhaps, you are in a position where everything is messed up, life happens and it breaks your heart. When we were in that position, there are no kind words could ever soothe you up, nobody could help you out; and therefore, it is easy to think that even God’s grace could not reach you to where you are, that you are too broken to be repaired.
But you should remember that our God, our living God, is enough. His grace is enough. His love is enough. His mercy is enough. His power is enough. He is enough to save you and me; and the best news is, He does more than that. He makes us even more beautiful for having been broken.
It might not look that way right now, maybe not tomorrow, or the day after that. It is okay. But God has promised that His grace is enough: enough to use whatever things you and I are facing today into something that would make us even more beautiful. He is the master of turning tragedy into triumph. He is still the same God who turns water into wine, walks on the water, calms the storm, and defeats the death.
He is still the same God.
